PHYSICAL PLANNING, DESIGN and DEVELOPMENT

In this stage, the vision for your property begins to take form. The process involves constant evaluation of the designs being tested against the landmark image being established for the property. Consistency in imaging throughout is paramount.  

During the Conceptual Planning stage, RTK Resort Group’s Principals will coordinate with your planning and design professionals, including land planners, architects, engineers and interior designers. Or, developers may opt to tap into RTK’s in-house capabilities, which include: Community Master Planning and Programming; Architectural Design and Engineering; Structural Design Concepts; Modular Construction Systems; Interior and FF&E Design; Estimating, Budgets, Purchasing & Cost Control; Scheduling and Construction Management.

Once the Conceptual Planning stage is complete, RTK’s Principals can serve in an oversight capacity to supervise local teams in the preparation of the project’s working drawings.

RTK Resort Group’s Principals have demonstrated their design and construction administration abilities, both nationally and internationally. In addition to guiding development projects in the United States, primarily in the Texas marketplace, the firm’s principals have a successful record of achievement for designing and overseeing development projects in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, Bahrain and Singapore.

The consortium, comprised of an experienced and accomplished multi-disciplinary team, has designed and managed the construction completion of numerous large and complex projects, including high-rise hotels and office buildings, hospitals, convention centers, retail centers, schools, religious centers and industrial projects. RTK’s Principals are certified Value Engineers, which when combined with the firm’s estimating, life cycle costing and long term construction expertise bring a superior level of quality control to each project

RTK’s principals have also had extensive experience using the “fast track” construction method. Two examples of their fast track projects are the San Antonio Convention Center and the Hilton Palacio Del Rio Hotel on San Antonio’s famed Riverwalk. RTK Principals are also recognized internationally as innovators in construction technology having co-developed the Modular Construction System, which has been used in hotels, schools, hospitals, dorms, and jails worldwide.
